Foundation Stabilisation, Balmoral Park, Lisburn (2017)

Foundation design for the site at Balmoral Park was subject to variable ground conditions and a high water table, therefore Stabilisure soil nails were used to reinforce the soil underneath the RC foundations to provide added confidence in the design. Plate load testing at this site showed that as little as 2 micro soil nails in the subgrade provided a minimum improvement of 12% to the bearing capacity.
